As Founder and CEO, Chris leads Summit and it’s growth in the greater Portland area. With his deep understanding of the evolving commercial real estate business, combined with demonstrable financial and strategic acumen, he has shaped Summits expansive diverse regional portfolio of properties. Chris adds a level of experience and market diversity rarely seen in a development company. Chris has been an active real estate investor and developer for more than 20 years.
As President of Summit, Seth is responsible for executing on internal and development operations. With more than twenty years of industry experience as a general contractor, construction manager, owner’s representative, operations manager, and developer, he leverages this experience to relate to and lead our project partners. His leadership portfolio includes projects in the public and private spaces, including the high tech, healthcare, multifamily, retail, and office sectors.
VP DESIGN + DEVELOPMENT
John brings 30 years of experience in commercial real estate and development to the Summit team. He is responsible for evaluating and implementing new developments into the growing Summit portfolio. From the onset, John plays a key role in the Pre-Development aspects of the project from idea conception, site acquisition, due diligence, highest & best land use, zoning analysis to entitlements and the formulation of the strategic design team partners.
DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT
Kevin earned a Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) from Portland State University, and a B.A. in Urban Studies and Planning from the University of California, San Diego
Prior to joining the Summit team, Kevin was the Director of Development at Urban Asset Advisors. Where he lead development efforts of high quality mixed use buildings in Portland, Oregon
As Controller of Summit, Mike is responsible for overseeing the accounting and financial operations of the company and its projects in development. Mike is a CPA with over 20 years of experience in leading the accounting and financial reporting functions of both privately-held and public companies in a variety of industries. Mike holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Southern California and an MBA in Finance from the Anderson School at UCLA.
DIRECTOR OF CONSTRUCTION
Marty brings over 28 years of experience in the real estate development and construction industry. He is well versed in construction management, project management, owners representation, due diligence, contract negotiations, contracting, estimating, entitlements, cost control and scheduling. With an understanding of developer, owner, operators and contractor relations he leads the team through the construction process. Marty’s experience includes the management of hospitality, senior housing, apartments, condominiums, office buildings, distribution facilities, manufacturing, warehouses, retail stores, commercial/residential buildings and sub-divisions.
Michelle brings 18 years of Property Management and Multi-Family Property Accounting Experience.
Prior to joining Summit , Michelle was responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple multi-family communities to ensure performance at or above annual budget, by developing strategies and executing action plans to maximize profitability and minimize loss in operations while driving the growth and development of a team.
