NIR CENTER

Portland’s Newest Life Science Project 

The NIR Center will be located in the heart of the Central Eastside Innovation Quadrant and will provide an environment necessary for Portland’s expanding bio-tech industry. The building will provide 312,000SF of BSL2 lab space and 65,000SF of creative office, conference and event space, along with 5,000 SF of retail on the ground floor with the potential of a child care center.  There will be parking for 100 cars below the ground floor level and easily accessed from the southwest corner at 9th and Washington. Delivering 2023.

When built as proposed, we will create a vibrant and attractive gateway at Oregon City's north entrance: a place where residents and tourists will shop, dine, stroll, enjoy a movie, bowl and even visit the PNW’s premier and largest indoor waterpark, “where it’s summer all the time”.  The proposed development will clean up the 80-plus acre contaminated brownfield site, create 1000’s of jobs and provide many other important economic impacts to the city and surrounding areas.

Eastside Innovation @ 808 Alder

The Central Eastside Industrial District is a growing hub of innovation in the heart of Portland. The Eastside Innovation Hub fulfills a drastically under-served market for wet biotech lab incubator space in the metro area, serving emerging health sciences and technology industries. The design will transform a two-story, concrete and wood-frame warehouse into 34,984 square feet of private, biotech-focused research wet laboratory space, along with a new penthouse for creative offices. Along with other sustainable design features including high-efficiency mechanical/electrical systems, the building is capped with an eco-roof, helping control building temperature while preventing excess storm-water runoff.

TIMBERHOUSE

Timberhouse, the project is an 8-story apartment building with offices and ground-level retail. Timberhouse includes 240 apartments with 8,000 square feet of retail. It will be built at Block 3 of the waterfront development, on the west side of Esther Street down the street from Vancouver City Hall. The building will be constructed of cross-laminated timber, a greener alternative to steel and concrete.
